Clinical studies of PREGNYL (chorionic gonadotropin) for injection did not include subjects aged 65 and over. There have been infrequent reports of ovarian neoplasms, both benign and malignant, in women who have undergone multiple drug therapy for ovarian stimulation; however, a causal relationship has not been established. It is not known whether this drug is excreted in human milk. Because many drugs are excreted in human milk, caution should be exercised if hCG is administered to a nursing woman.
